Diacore and De Beers Purchase a 39.34-ct Blue Diamond | Professional Jeweller

As published by ‘Professional Jeweller’ – De Beers and Diacore purchased a rare 39.34 – ct blue diamond from the famous Cullinan Diamond Mine. The two companies paid $40.18 million for this latest find.

Nir Livnat, executive chairman of Diacore, said: “We’re excited and humbled to have the opportunity of designing and shaping one of the most special and rare blue diamonds of such size and color”.

This is not the first time De Beers and Diacore team-up. The duo has also purchased five rare blue diamonds also from the Cullinan mine, totaling 85.62 carats, in the past.
